Sick workers urged to stay at home this winter

Australian workers  in new South Wales have been advised to stay at home if they get the flu this winter.

Doctors are also advising that if people are sick they should take time off, wash their hands regularly and avoid coughing or sneezing near others.

People with the flu are being urged to consult GPs and avoid using emergency departments unless there is a real emergency.
