Prevent Illness and Fight Disease With Fresh Raw Food and Juices

There comes a time in everyones life where we realize we have been mistreating, or at best, neglecting our bodies. Busy schedules, 60 hour a week jobs, international travel or a bit too much of the “good life” all take their toll, and sometimes it is amazing the human body still functions at all! All to often I see doctors and pharmaceutical companies pushing supplements and other miracle drugs that supposedly make up for these indiscretions, and while I accept of course that in an emergency these kinds of treatments are great, I wish people would take some preventative action before it gets to this stage.
My solution to the modern dilemma: fresh, raw fruit and vegetable juice, made right there at home in your kitchen using nothing but good wholesome ingredients and a suitable juicer machine.
You may have heard of raw food diets. Basically these are used to detoxify the body and allow damaged cells to repair, by putting nothing in that contains any artificial sweeteners, colors, flavours, or preservatives. By eating only raw uncooked food (we’re talking about fruits and vegetables or dairy products, not meat by the way!) you get the best natural balance of vitamins and minerals.
Juicing vegetables, even things like leafy greens and root vegetables, and drinking the juice immediately is a great way to consume raw produce without having to chew up tons of hard veggies.
Putting good, healthy and simple food into your body is a great way to boost the immune systems ability to fight off bugs and infections, and can be the best and safest way to overcome the sluggish and weak feeling that often follows illnesses.
