Mental Health Problems Linked to Obesity

A new study reveals that mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression are associated with obesity.
The research from Otago University involved nearly 13,000 New Zealanders, and is the first study t examine links between all anxiety disorders and obesity.
The research shows there are associations between obesity and some anxiety disorders but less strong links with obesity and depression.
The findings indicate that those with obesity are more likely to have certain mental disorders than people without obesity. Read More
